Monthly Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Simply Effective Education.
  2. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. By entering this prize draw, a participant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  4. The prize draw will run through this web page only.
  5. To enter the prize draw, participants must be a confirmed subscriber of the Promoter's newsletter.
  6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
  7. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  8. The winner will be drawn at random on the 10th day of each month from all valid entries received and verified by the Promoter.
  9. Entries received after 23:59:59 on the 9th day of the month will only be entered into prize draws for following months.
  10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  11. A person can only win the prize draw once, even if they leave the newsletter and re-subscribe at a later date.
  12. If there are fewer than 20 new subscribers to the newsletter in a given month, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize draw for that month without notice.
  13. There is only one prize available every month and it is as follows: all of the GCSE Maths teaching resources that are listed by the Promoter on at the time of the prize draw.
  14. The prize is for the winner's use only. It cannot be shared with other people, for example other members of the winner's teaching department.
  15. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  16. The prize is not transferable.
  17. The prize is subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  18. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this competition.
  19. The winner will announced via the Promoter's newsletter and the winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the draw.
  20. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  21. The Promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  22. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  25. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions. Such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this web page.
  26. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  27. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, death or other circumstances affecting the enjoyment of participants as a result of or connected to taking part in this promotion or winning a prize.
  28. These conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of England and Wales.
